Somers White

Speakers - Business - Negotiation - Somers White was born in Kansas and grew up in Wisconsin. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Amherst College and a Masters Degree from the Harvard Business School. He served with the 17th Infantry Regiment in the Orient and started his business career on Wall Street with the Executive Training Program of the Chase Manhattan Bank. While Somers was in charge of Marketing for a new bank, deposits went from zero to $33 million in just eighteen months. At one time, he held the title "Youngest Bank President in America" for any bank located in a major metropolitan center. Somers has been an officer and director of both the Phoenix Advertising Club and Sales and Marketing Executives (SME) and an Area Director of SME International.

Somers White is a former Arizona State Senator and has served as President of the Phoenix Society of Financial Analysts. He has been a member of the Arizona State University faculty, teaching the courses in Management and Bank Management. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and President of the Phoenix Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants. Somers is also a member of the American Arbitration Association, Newcomen Society and the Circumnavigators Club. Somers is a charter member and past director of the National Speakers Association (NSA). He is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and holds the highest award in professional speaking, the CPAE. For over twenty years, he has served as President of the Somers White Company, Management Consultants, which he founded. His firm makes a specialty of assisting organizations to present themselves properly in difficult situation, such as when a loan has been called by a bank and other crisis situations.
