The seven time Emmy award winning host of ESPN's talk shows for more than two decades, Firestone performed his powerful, amusing and unforgettable musical and spoken word tribute to the men and women who responded to a "call of action" following the terrorist attacks of September 11th. "Its a satisfying and humbling experience to move so many people," said Firestone, who performs more than 70 corporate, private and keynote speeches every year.

The audience, more than 9,000 standing and cheering, also featured appearances by former President Gerald R. Ford congressman and space hero, Col. John Glenn, and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Firestone performance opened with humorous video clips of sports and entertainment, including dozens of Firestone's impressions of celebrities. It ended with a visibly moved and inspired standing ovation of America's top corporate businessmen.

Firestone says he had added new elements to his award winning show recently. "After September 11th, I wanted to write something about courage, teamwork, unity and humanity," said Firestone who has been called one of the nations premier and "in demand" journalist-interviewers. Firestone has performed his one of a kind stage show for corporate and theatre audiences worldwide. The result was a major and emotional highlight to one of the largest and speaking forums, The Bakersfield Business Forum.

"This will be a permanent fixture to my new show," said Firestone. "It features musical tributes and spoken word essays about America's spirit." Firestone says the reaction to his changes are gratifying and personally uplifting.
