Michael Lennox

Michael Lennox is one of the most respected dream interpreters, having spent the last fifteen years interpreting more than three thousand dreams for workshops, corporations and private clientele. Lennox, who current holds a master's degree in Psychology, has been deeply influenced by Carl Jung's theories on dreams. (Jung's foremost contribution to modern dream-interpretation was the identification of the Collective Unconscious. He also suggested that people in one's dreams represent different character aspects of the dreamer's inner self.)

Lennox's extensive studies also include the philosophies of many of the masters of dream interpretation, including Dr. Sigmund Freud. Lennox's interest in nighttime phenomena began when, at the age of three he began having vivid and memorable dreams. As an adolescent his interest began to grow when he borrowed his mother's copy of Freud's book, The Interpretation of Dreams. Though it was heady stuff for the young teen, it nonetheless proved to be a defining moment in his life. After moving from New York city to Los Angeles in 1987, Lennox began studying at the Jung Institute, located in West Los Angeles. There he worked closely with Dr. Nicki Joy Burke of the Montechianni group, specializing in the area of dream-work, and experimental therapy. Lennox has participated in extensive workshop training with both The Path of the Heart, with Margaret Fitzgerald and Landmark Education.

He can also be seen on "The Dream Team with Annabelle and Michael"- a series that deals with dreams and their meanings. With fellow co-host AnnaBelle Gurwitch, each episode features guests that talk about their dreams, or nightmares, and has them interpreted by the show's dream analyst, Michael Lennox.
