Olympic Swimmer Jarrod Marrs
The Ragin' Cajun. Born, lives and trains in Bengal Tiger country of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Don't confuse Jarrod with his hometown's nickname of The Big Easy. Jarrod swims with reckless abandon. Once he leaves the blocks, the only thing between Jarrod and a victory is a pool full of water that he cuts through like a hot knife in butter.
His competitive fire burns within him. A serious shoulder injury could not keep him from his Olympic Dream, coaches and other swimmers telling him dropping a significant amount of time was going to be difficult didn't matter. When it came down to it, Jarrod's intensity only increases with every doubter. Reaching the #1 ranking in the World during 1999, Jarrod will never be satisfied until his mission is complete, the top step of the Gold Medal platform listening to his name, "Jarrod Marrs, Breastroker, Olympic Gold."
