Gallagher - Watermelon's Natural Enemy

| Gallagher is available to appear at your next corporate event. Gallagher is most noted for wielding his trademark Sledge-O-Matic. He showers his audiences with the pulverized remains of apples, orange, lettuce, cottage cheese, pound cakes, Big Macs and of course, no show can end without the Watermelon Finale. Show-goers turn up already "Gallagherized," wearing plastic raincoats, goggles, sunglasses, umbrellas and windshield wipers and refer to the front of the theater as Death Row.
There has never been a more inventive mind on the comedy stage than Gallagher. Keeping a team of skilled craftsmen busy full-time, Gallagher is constantly dreaming up new, brilliant, and hilarious props with which to delight his audience.
The one thing an audience can count on at a Gallagher concert is surprise and delight! Gallagher's comedy is much more than outrageous stunts and hilarious props, however. He is a keen and original observer of human nature and the American scene, and he delivers his observations with a blend of comedic insight and dry acerbity which at once challenges and delights his audience. "I want people to look more closely at this country and their lives - to see the humor and absurdity in it all, and to look beyond their sense of limitations into how things might be." His originality is more than merely stylistic - he is constantly creative and writes all his own material. "I don't have to make it up, the truth is funny enough!" Whether he's poking fun at our language - "Why do you have a "pair" of pants but only one bra?", or commenting on human behavior, "Why do they put locks on the doors at 7-Eleven stores when they're open 24-hours a day?" - he's always original, thought-provoking, and as funny as they come. He arrives on stage in crazy, outrageous vehicles of his own invention, including a bicycle seat slung between ten-feet high wheels, a motorized school desk, and a pair of combination roller skate/spring shoes. Once on stage he is the master of ceremonies for a circus of remote-control watermelons, mic stands with minds of their own, flying seagulls which do to the audience what seagulls do best, and all manner of things that squirt. And don't be surprised to find a watermelon blimp buzzing the audience during intermission - Gallagher even flew a pedal-powered man-sized blimp of his own creation at the National Air Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin!
