Bob Saget

Bob Saget is best known for his role as Danny Tanner on the popular family sitcom, “Full House.” Saget began making short films and developing his writing talents during high school, where he wrote comedic songs, sketches and standup routines for himself and his friends. In 1978, Saget graduated from the film program at Temple University in Philadelphia and moved to Los Angeles, where he enrolled in, but never finished, the prestigious University of Southern California graduate film program.

He soon found his way into his first television appearances, including the comedy game show "Make Me Laugh," Rodney Dangerfield's "HBO Young Comedians Special" and several commercials. As a warm up comedian for the audiences of the television comedy "Bosom Buddies," he soon received a guest-starring role on the series. He went on to guest star in such series as "It's A Living" and "The Greatest American Hero," and he costarred in the feature film “Critical Condition.” Then, in 1987, he got the starring role as Danny Tanner on the hit series “Full House,” which ran for eight seasons. In addition to "Full House," Saget served as host and co-writer of the television series "America's Funniest Home Videos" from 1990 to 1997. comedian bob saget

In 2001, Saget starred in another family television series, “Raising...Dad.” In addition to acting, Saget has written and directed such films as “Becoming Dick,” “Dirty Work,” “For Hope,” “Jitters,” and “Through Adam’s Eyes.” Saget has also performed in “A Comedy Salute to Andy Kaufman,” and continues to pursue roles that display his comedic timing, writing skills and acting talents.
